Metallica tribute band DamageInc and the Denver Pops Orchestra perform four of Fogelman’s new arrangements of Metallica’s greatest hits.

YONI FOGELMAN’S COMPOSITION RECITAL
Fogelman’s senior composition recital at UCLA will feature a variety of vocal and instrumental works, including multiple premieres.

PREMIERE: “ON THE GRID” WITH KODIAK BRASS
The Los-Angeles based Kodiak Brass Quintet premieres Fogelman’s new work “On The Grid” in UCLA’s Schoenberg Hall.

“THE SONG OF MIRIAM” WITH ADORO ENSEMBLE
Los-Angeles vocal group “Adoro” will premiere the large ensemble version of Fogelman’s “The Song of Miriam” under the baton of music director Joung-A Monica Yum at their “Madrigals of May” spring concert. They are the first group to perform this work after the Seraphour quartet, who commissioned the original composition from Fogelman.

“MADE BY AND FOR THE FUTURE” WITH CON BRIO STRING ORCHESTRA
UCLA’s “Con Brio” ensemble will be the second string orchestra, after the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA), to perform Fogelman’s upbeat and tuneful work from his debut classical album “One By One.”

Join the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in a celebration of renowned soprano Hilá Plitmann and her collaboration with UCLA composers. Among the works at this concert of premieres will be Yoni Fogelman’s “Chanson d'automne.”

PREMIERE: “THE EVERLASTING FLAME” WITH UCLA CHAMBER SINGERS
After 8 weeks of rehearsals, come out for an evening of choral music presented by the UCLA Choral Department. The concert will open with a world premiere of Yoni Fogelman’s new holiday work “The Everlasting Flame,” featuring Alaina Stark on harp.

“THE SONG OF MIRIAM” WITH SERAPHOUR QUARTET
Los Angeles-based vocal quartet Seraphour returns with another performance of Fogelman’s “The Song of Miriam” at the Church of the Epiphany in Oak Park as part of their “Spirit and Light” concert.

UCLA bassoon student Zane Marquez premieres Fogelman’s unaccompanied bassoon suite “Bassoon Love” at his senior recital.

UCLA horn student Rory O’Regan opens his junior recital with Fogelman’s unaccompanied French Horn work “Thoughts Above A Sea of Fog.”

PREMIERE: “I SURVIVE” WITH TONY ARNOLD
Soprano Tony Arnold will perform a recital of new works for voice composed by UCLA composition students, including the premiere of Yoni Fogelman’s “I Survive.”

PREMIERE: “THE SONG OF MIRIAM” WITH SERAPHOUR QUARTET
Los Angeles-based vocal quartet Seraphour premieres Yoni Fogelman’s “The Song of Miriam,” at the Beverly Hills Greystone Mansion, marking the group’s first commission in Hebrew.

PREMIERE: “A SELECTION OF PETS” WITH SPECTRUM CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY
